Eliud Kipchoge Finishes No. 2 on ESPN's Most Dominant Athletes of 2018 List

By Adam Kopet

ESPN released its list Tuesday of the 20 most dominant athletes of 2018. Eliud Kipchoge sits at No. 2.

Kipchoge only entered two races in 2018, the London Marathon and the Berlin Marathon. He won both in dominating fashion, giving him 10 marathon wins in 11 races since 2013.

Of course, Kipchoge will most be remembered for his world-record run in Berlin this year. He took 1:18 off the world record, finishing in 2:01:39.

With the ESPN list including athletes from all sports, the top-ranked athlete was Simone Biles for her fourth all-around title at the Gymnastics World Championships. She added another four gold medals in individual events.
