Beatrice Chepkoech: The middle-distance runner from Kenya won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Birmingham Diamond League meeting in a meet-record 9:05.55. (Results). Taylor Ewert: The soon to be high school senior from Beavercreek OH won the USA vs. Canada Junior Racewalk match for the third straight year, walking 23:25 for 5K. (Results). Konstanze Klosterhalfen: The middle-distance runner from Germany won the Millicent Fawcett mile at the Birmingham Diamond League meeting in a meet and national outdoor record 4:21.11. (Results). Leonard Korir: The distance runner won the New Balance Falmouth Road Race by 18 seconds, running 32:11 for 7 miles to become the first American male athlete since 1988 to secure victory. (Results). Sharon Lokedi: The distance runner from Kenya won the New Balance Falmouth Road Race by five seconds, running 36:29 for 7 miles. (Results). Cory McGee: The middle distance runner won the Aetna Falmouth Elite Mile by nearly two seconds, running 4:29.51. (Results).
