Katelyn Tuohy Reveals Her College Choice: N.C. State

An incredible recruiting haul for North Carolina State added the crown jewel of the 2020 class on Sunday as three-time Nike Cross Nationals champion Katelyn Tuohy of North Rockland NY made her announcement via Instagram. 

Tuohy joins an outstanding class that includes Foot Locker runner-up Marlee Starliper of Northern PA, Claire Walters of Fayetteville-Manlius NY, Alyssa Hendrix of Riverview FL and Jenna Schulz of Liverpool NY. 

It's essentially a Fab Five. 

Tuohy is the U.S. high school record holder in the mile, the 2-mile and the 5,000 meters and has been a dominant force across three seasons since her sophomore year. She worked her way through a difficult recruitng process this fall while maintaining an elite competitive level. 

Two weeks ago at NXN, Tuohy was retiecent to reveal her top three or even talking about her recruiting decision. 

At N.C. State, Tuohy and her incoming classmates will have an opportunity to elevate the Wolfpack distance program to unprecedented heights and increase exposure for the enitre sport.
