Wisconsin's Chloe Lindeman Launches No. 3 NCAA Mark In Weight Throw By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor South Florida sprinter Saminu Abdul-Rasheed ran potential NCAA Championship qualifying performances in the 60 meters and the 200 meters for a productive outing at the Wisconsin Windy City Invitational at the Gately Center in Chicago. Abdul-Rasheed ripped through the 60 meters in 6.57 seconds, which ties for 11th place on the current NCAA Division 1 list. He also ran a time of 20.72 seconds, tying him for 14th. He also ran a leg on the Bulls' winning 4x400 relay (3:08.32). Abdul-Rasheed was a finalist in the 100 and the 200 last June at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, taking third in the 200 meters, fifth in the 100. South Florida's Goodness Iredia won the men's long jump with 7.90m (25-11), good for No. 6 on the NCAA list. Wisconsin's Jason Swarens threw a season-best 19.53m (64-1) to win the shot put and sits at No. 6 on the list. The Badgers' Chloe Lindeman threw 23.24m (76-3) to win the women's weight throw and ranks third in the NCAA. Makayla Hunter of Indiana won the shot put with 17.32m (56-10). Indiana's Martin Segurola won Friday's invitational mile in 3:56.43. Erin Reidy from Minnesota won the women's invitational mile in 4:36.99. Northern Colorado's Zander Cruzan won the men's 400 meters in 46.29, just ahead of Wisconsin's Jalen Williams (46.88). Robert Heppenstall from the Atlanta Track Club won the men's 800 meters in 1:47.13. Wisconsin's Emma Kelley won the women's 800 meters in 2:04.36.
