Natalie Dumas, who won an historic three national titles at New Balance Nationals Outdoor last June, is entered to race at the U.S. Marine Corps Holiday Classic at The Armory in New York on Dec. 27 to conclude 2025.
The senior from Eastern Regional NJ is scheduled to appear in the girls 800 meters, which she ran a lifetime best 2 minutes, 00.11 seconds at New Balance Nationals Outdoor as part of her triple in Philadelphia. Dumas also won the 400 hurdles (55.99) and open 400 (51.14).
Dumas opened her senior campaign on Dec. 22, running 5:10.58 for the mile at the SJTCA #5 meet at Ocean Breeze. Dumas has narrowed her school choices down to Arkansas, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
Abigail Robisky of Union Catholic, who broke the freshman class record in the 600 in 1:33.6 at the Ridge Winter Invitational on Dec. 8, will make her high school debut in the 800 against Dumas.
Quincy Wilson returns to The Armory a week after running a US #1 in the boys 500 in 1:02.05 at the Jim Mitchell Invitational. The Bullis MD senior will tackle the 300 alongside teammate Cameron Homer, who won the 300 at Jim Mitchell in 33.92.
Another Bullis rising star, freshman Mya Arrendell, will look to improve her US#1 time of 6.92 in the 55, taking on US#1 Laura Fiegel of St. James Academy VA, who beat Arrendell in the final at Jim Mitchell by .01 seconds. Arrendell also ran a freshman class record of 37.42 to win the 300 at Jim Mitchell.
Bullis will also feature US#1 Kassidy Hopkins in the 55 hurdles after running 7.67 and Alexis Brown, US#2 in triple jump, will face US#1 long jumper Brooklyn Little of Elizabeth Seton MD in long jump.
US#1 high jumper Ryan Buskey of Colonie Central NY is entered in the vertical jumps this weekend, competing in the boys long jump. The Georgia commit jumped 7-2 in the high jump and ran 1:04.29 in the 500 at the JAMBAR Coaches Hall of Fame Invite.
Henry Frasca of Master School NY, US#1 in 600, will make his season debut in the boys 800 against Colonie Central’s Owen Conley.
David Nnabuko of St. James, sixth at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in 200, is entered in the boys 55.
Defending New York indoor 300 state champion Breanne Barnett of Baldwin NY will contest in her second 300 of this season. Barnett ran 38.71 at Nassau Coaches Invitational on Dec. 13 to begin her season.
JAMBAR mile winner Liam Luff of Trinity School NY is the top entry in the boys mile. Union Catholic NJ’s Sophia Thompson, second in the 1,600 at the New Jersey Meet of Champions last spring, is the top entry in the girls mile.
Jenna Monaco of Dumont NJ aims to continue her unbeaten season in the girls pole vault. Monaco cleared a personal best and US#8 12-6 at Jim Mitchell.
Quincy Pearson of Union Catholic leads the way in the boys triple jump with his US#11 mark of 46-10. |
