Quincy Wilson has a few boxes to check before he leaves indoor high school track and field and the senior from Bullis School MD clearly wants the national record in the 500 meters.

Wilson, the 2024 Paris Olympian and gold medalist, came up a bit short in his bid to get the record last weekend at The Armory in New York.

His next chance comes at The CIRCUIT Philly this Saturday at the Ott Center. The Philadelphia stop will be the third an final indoor meet in this year's CIRCUIT series. The fourth event will be outdoors at the Oregon Relays in Eugene in April.

Wilson, who owns a personal best of 1:00.56, would love to become the first high schooler to break the minute barrier. But he'd surely settle for taking down Andrew Salvodon's record time of 1:00.49 from 2025.

Taking the record would also avenge one of the only losses of Wilson's high school career.

Bullis has other standouts signed up for the meet.

Freshman sensation Mya Arrendell hasn't raced since the Millrose Games on Feb. 1, but she's set to race in the 300 meters, an event where she ranks US#5 with the 37.42 seconds that she ran back on Dec. 20.

Arrendell may also run the 400, along with teammate Kennedy Brown

Wilson's teammate, Cameron Homer, leads the field in the boys 300 meters. He is also ranked US#5 in the event, with a best of 33.29 on Jan. 17.

Anthony Sarro of Gonzaga College Prep of D.C., who recently won the 1,600 meters title at the DCSAA Indoor Championships, is entered in a high quality mile along with Christian Brothers Academy NJ standouts Luke Hnatt and Gavin Schmitt, and Caleb Rock of St. John's College DC.

In the boys 2-mile, Brunswick CT senior Nathan Lee will aim to move up on the national leaderboard. Lee ran 8:52.67 outdoors last May. Lee was also 17th at the Brooks XC Championships in December.

In the NFHS girls mile, Blair Bartlett of Lawrenceville NJ will aim to improve her US#4 time of 4:39.73.

Jayden Deleon (Montgomery Blair MD), who won the 400 meters at the Millrose Games, is aiming to run faster than the 47.84 that he ran there. He is in a competitive 400 field with Rondre Austion of Motor City TC (Oak Park MI), Amir Duff (St. James Academy VA) and Jordan Waller (Archbishop Carroll).

Waller won the 400 at The CIRCUIT New York City in 48.18 seconds.

The boys 200 meters features Jordon McNeill  (Southwest Guilford NC), the North Carolina Class 7A champion in the 300 meters. He's set to race Cameron Bowser (Bishop O'Connell VA) and Austion.

Sianni Wynn of Pennsauken NJ, who recently won Group titles in the 55 and 400 meters, is set to race the 200 where she is US#4 with 23.37 seconds. Laura Fiegel of St. James Academy and Brown of Bullis are also entered.
