De'montray Callis, a junior at Baylor, advanced in three events at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark. Callis finished second in his quarterfinal heat of the 200 meters in a wind-aided 20.27, in addition to the Bears earning runner-up honors in their 4x100-meter relay quarterfinal heat in 39.19 seconds. Callis also placed fourth in his 100-meter dash quarterfinal heat in a wind-aided 10.01, and is expected to compete in all three events June 5-8 at the Division 1 championship meet at Hayward Field in Oregon.
