Lorena Rangel Batres, a redshirt junior at LSU representing Mexico, placed second in the women's 1,500-meter final in 4:12.78 at the Southeastern Conference Championships at Percy Beard Track in Gainesville, Fla. Rangel Batres also finished fifth in the 800-meter final in 2:03.36 for the Tigers, who captured their first women's team title since 2012 and 14th in program history with 126 points.
