Michaela Rose, a junior at LSU, repeated as winner of the women's 800 meters by clocking 1:58.89 at the Southeastern Conference Championships at Percy Beard Track in Gainesville, Fla. Rose, who became the first female athlete in the conference to win back-to-back 800 championships since Phoebe Wright of Tennessee in 2009-10, also contributed to a fifth-place performance in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:28.08, as the Tigers won their first women's team title since 2012 and the 14th in program history with 126 points.
