Jamaican athlete Brianna Lyston of LSU ran a wind-aided 10.89 seconds to earn runner-up honors in an historic women's 100 meters final the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. Four women ran under 11 seconds with a +2.2 m/s tailwind. Lyston also helped the Tigers place second in the 4x100-meter relay in 42.57 seconds.
