Harrison Williams 2nd Place Men's Decathlon Group 5 - Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Outdoor Invitational 2019

Stanford fifth-year senior Harrison Williams placed second with a personal-best 8.112 points in the men's decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Williams, who surpassed his previous-best 8,032 points from 2016, elevated to No. 2 in the world this year behind winner Ayden Owens of USC (8,130 points). It marked only the second time in collegiate history that two decathletes both surpassed 8,100 points in a regular-season competition.
