It's just the latest challenge for Burrell and his team to overcome during a health crisis and social unrest. Burrell, who was elected President of USTFCCCA prior to the upheaval caused by COVID-19, talks about the additional challenges that track and field programs across the country are facing. He also explains how and why he volunteered to participate in the Pfizer vaccination trials last fall. Due to problems with power and water in the city, the Houston track teams have not held a formal practice since last Sunday.
