Cincinnati seniors Aaron Bienenfeld and Alec Sandusky took second and third in the men's 10,000 meters at the Sound Running College Invite in Irvine, Calif. Bienenfeld, representing Germany, clocked 28:10.95 to run more than one minute faster than his previous outdoor best. He also ran faster than his 10-kilometer road personal-best 28:31, achieved in December in Germany. Sandusky ran 28:40.59 in his 10,000-meter debut. Bienenfeld was an All-American in both the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships and the Cross Country Championships. Sandusky was also a finalist at both national meets.
