Mia Brahe-Pedersen from Lake Oswego High and Lily Jones from Roosevelt, two of the top sprinters in the U.S. and on a short list of greatest high school sprinters in Oregon history, join DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss their friendship, their successes on the track, and their participation in this weekend's Oregon Relays at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Brahe-Pedersen ran 11.43 for 100 meters and Jones was second in 11.52 last Saturday at the Wilsonville Invitational as both ran personal best times. They revisit some of the history of girls sprinting in Oregon and review a couple of their best achievements from the winter indoor season. Jones ran a time of 7.37 seconds in the 60 meters at the Husky Indoor Classic in Seattle, for US#8. Brahe-Pedersen ran US#2 23.44 on the way to winning in the Nike Indoor Nationals title in the 200 meters.
