Roosevelt High School head track coach and school psychiatrist Jonquil Vann joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss the rise of the school's track program over the past 10 years. Roosevelt's boys won the Portland Interscholastic League district meet title for the first time since 1955 two weeks ago and junior William Heslam finished second in the Oregon 6A 1,500-meter final. Lily Jones, a top-10 sprinter nationally and a University of Oregon recruit, is easily one of the greatest athletes in school history after running 11.30w for second place in the 100 meters and 23.75 for second place in the 200 at the state meet.
