Vashti Cunningham, a Nike professional athlete also representing Red Bull, won her seventh straight national title with a 6-6.75 (2.00m) clearance on her second attempt at the USATF Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Cunningham matched the record for consecutive women's indoor high jump national championships achieved by Eleanor Montgomery from 1963-69. It was also her 12th career national title, matching her best indoor clearance from 2021 to remain tied for No. 3 all-time among American competitors. Cunningham ascended to No. 2 in the world among indoor performers this year.
