Josette Andrews 1st Place, Sintayehu Vissa 2nd Place Women's Olympic Development 1,500m - Penn Relays 2023

Josette Andrews of the U.S. won the women's 1,500 meters at Penn Relays in a meet record time of 4:04.88. She broke a 27-year-old meet record, held by Julie Henner (4:06.84) since 1996. Sintayehu Vissa of Italy was second in 4:07.27. Andrews and Vissa are training partners who run for On Athletics Club.
