Peyton Bedrosian, a junior at Paso Robles High in California, was among seven athletes in the girls pole vault to clear 12-7 (3.83m) in the prelims, advancing to the final at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. Bedrosian needed three attempts to clear 12-3 (3.73m) and 12-7 to secure a berth in the state final.
