Reece Smith, a junior at Northwest Missouri State, captured back-to-back titles in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:07.03 at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Smith became the first repeat winner in the men's steeplechase since Adams State standout Tabor Stevens triumphed three years in a row from 2013-15.
