Romaine Beckford, a senior at Arkansas representing Jamaica, won the men's high jump title with a third-attempt clearance at 7-3.25 (2.22m) at the Southeastern Conference Championships at James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. Beckford became the first male athlete in the conference to sweep the indoor and outdoor high jump titles in the same year since LSU star JuVaughn Harrison in 2021. He also became the first Arkansas competitor to win the men's outdoor high jump crown since Alain Bailey in 2009.
