Sam Tanner and Sam Ruthe of New Zealand sit down with DyeStat's Keenan Gray on a new episode of DyeStat Discussions to talk about racing in the men's mile at the ASICS Sound Invite Saturday Feb. 14 at JDL Fast Track. Ruthe, who ran a U18 world record 3:48.88 in Boston on Jan. 31, and Tanner, a two-time Olympian for New Zealand, will face Olympic champion Cole Hocker, as well as the likes of Cooper Teare, Festus Lagat, Vincent Ciattei and Jack Anstey. 

In this episode, Tanner and Ruthe talk about their current trip to the U.S. and racing elite competition, what it's been like training with each other over the last year, and the rising talent of oceanic runners in the global athletics scene.
