Jane Hedengren 1st Place Women's Invitational 5000m - Collegiate Outdoor Record - Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Outdoor Invitational 2026

BYU freshman Jane Hedengren broke the NCAA outodor record in the 5,000 meters on Friday night at the Bryan Clay Invitational with her winning time of 14:50.50. Hedengren's indoor best of 14:44.79 from last December is the fastest overall time by a woman in collegiate history.
