2012 Olympic 400m Champion Sanya Richards-Ross Used Valentine's Day to Announce she is Expecting her First ChildBy Adam Kopet, DyeStat Editor Sanya Richards-Ross took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce she and her husband, Aaron Ross, are expecting their first child. Richards-Ross won four Olympic gold medals in her career, as well as a bevy of world championship medals. She was a part of the gold medal winning 4x400m relay teams in 2004, 2008 and 2012. In London, at the 2012 Olympic Games, Richards-Ross finally added the individual 400-meter gold medal to her collection, something that she had just missed out on four years earlier. "Sweetest Valentine’s gift EVER…. #BabyRoss coming Summer 2017," Richards-Ross wrote as part of her announcement on Instagram. After the 2016 Olympic Trials, Richards-Ross retired from competition. She still traveled to Rio and provided broadcast commentary for NBC. Richards-Ross also posted a picture of baby shoes with the caption, "New year... new chapter... new joy! #BabyRoss" More news |
