Allyson Felix to Race 100 Meters on the Island of Guadeloupe

Allyson Felix will race the 100 meters Saturday on the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, according to Alfonz Juck of eme news and trackalerts.com.

This will be Felix's first time racing on Guadeloupe. She owns a personal best of 10.89 from 2012. This weekend will serve as Felix's individual outdoor debut for 2018. Her one previous outdoor race this year was a 4x100 relay April 21 at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays.

Also competing this weekend on Guadeloupe is Cuba's Pedro Pablo Pichardo in the triple jump. He won the triple jump at the Doha Diamond League meeting last week.
