Emily Sisson Withdraws from Road to Gold

Emily Sisson has withdrawn from the Road to Gold race Saturday in Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Track Club.

Sisson is training for her marathon debut at the London Marathon in April.

The Road to Gold race will follow the final eight miles of the planned Olympic Trials Marathon course. The race is bringing together some of the top 2020 Olympic hopefuls in the marathon, including now 31 athletes who have achieved the Olympic Trials Marathon "A" standard.
