High School Performances Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

The high school track and field season is coming to a close. The Brooks PR Invitational and New Balance Nationals Outdoor both took place this week, with many stellar performances across the board. We also saw some strong early season marks on the professional circuit with Diamond League meetings taking place in Oslo and Rabat. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Fredrick Dacres: The thrower from Jamaica won the discus at the Rabat Diamond League meeting with a Diamond League record throw of 232-2 (70.78m). (Results).

Kayla Davis: The high school freshman who runs for Run U Xpress set a world age-15 best in winning the 400 meters at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in 51.17. (Results). Watch the race.

Nick Foster: The high school senior from Ann Arbor Pioneer MI won the mile at the Brooks PR Invitational in a US#1 4:03.11. (Results). Watch the race.

Ty Hampton: The high school senior from North Bend OR won the javelin at New Balance Nationals Outdoor with a US#1 222-11 (67.94m). (Results).

Sydney Masciarelli: The high school sophomore from Marianapolis Prep CT won the 5,000 meters and 2 mile at New Balance Nationals Outdoor, running 16:16.20 and 10:11.99, respectively. The former ranks her 11th on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the 5,000 meters and the 2 mile.

Kurt Powdar: The high school senior from Oscar Smith VA won the 110-meter hurdles at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in 13.27, ranking him fourth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race.

Morgan Smalls: The high school junior from Panther Creek NC won the high jump at New Balance Nationals Outdoor with a clearance of 6-2.25 (1.88m), ranking her equal to seventh on the prep all-timer performer list. (Results).

Ericka VanderLende: The high school senior from Rockford MI won the 2 mile at the Brooks PR Invitational in 9:53.00, ranking her fourth on the prep all-time list. (Results). Watch the race.

Karsten Warholm: The hurdler from Norway won the 400-meter hurdles at the Oslo Diamond League meeting in a European record 47.33. (Results).

Britton Wilson: The high school senior from Mills E Godwin VA won the 400-meter hurdles at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in 56.77, good for seventh on the prep-all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race.
