2 (9). Leo Daschbach, senior, Highland AZ: He owned the night at Desert Twilight, outkicking the preseason US#1 with the second-fastest 5-kilometer performance in prep history.

3 (1). Cole Sprout, senior, Valor Christian CO: His narrow loss to Daschbach doesn't take away from the fact that he's running great.

4 (3). Graydon Morris, senior, Aledo TX: Nothing much to show yet, but he's always there at the end.

5 (4). Evan Holland, senior, Ashland OR: He entered the season with a 14:57.6 at the Rogue XC Invitational.

6 (5). Matt Strangio, senior, Jesuit CA: He ran a dominant 14:39.9 5K at the Capital Cross Challenge.

7 (7). Thomas Boyden, senior, Skyline UT: He followed a strong performance at the Bob Firman Invite with another good one for third place at Desert Twilight. 

8 (11). Connor Ohlson, senior, Dakota Ridge CO: He won the Pat Patten Invite in 15:15.

9 (6). Josh Methner, senior, Hersey IL: He's undefeated in September in Illinois. 

10 (15). Jonas Price, senior, Eisenhower WA: He is quietly putting a great season together in Washington, with a course record at Fort Steilacoom (14:50.1) and another sub-15 last weekend at Bellevue. This weekend comes a big test at Sunfair as he tackles history at Franklin Park. 

11 (10). Carter Solomon, senior, Plymouth MI: He's still stringing together wins in Michigan.

12 (8). Cruz Culpepper, senior, Niwot CO: No racing yet.  

13 (14). Liam Murphy, senior, Allentown NJ: He dominated the Thompson Park Class Meet. 

14 (NR). Luke Combs, senior, Lapel IN: He ran an eye-popping 14:56 at FlashRock in Indiana.

15 (16). Ryan Schoppe, senior, LaPorte TX: He ran 15:06 at the Region 3 Preview. 

16 (17). Daniel O'Brien, senior, Virginia Episcopal VA: He ran 15:18 to win DCXC. 

17 (NR). Sam Lawler, senior, Pittsford Mendon NY: He ran 14:54 for the fastest time at the McQuaid Invitational. 

18 (23). Jared Kreis, senior, Lincoln-Way Central IL: He ran 15:08 at the Minooka Flighted Invitational.

19 (NR). Aidan Puffer, sophomore, Manchester CT: Talented 10th-grader won his home invitational in 15:32 at Derryfield Park.

20 (20). Evan Bishop, senior, East Grand Rapids MI: He's churning out wins in Michigan and recently committed to Wisconsin. 

21 (22). Robert Cozean, senior, Xavier CT: He posted the fastest time of the day at the Bowdoin Park Classic in New York. 

22 (25). Jace Aschbrenner, senior, Newbury Park CA: He gives Newbury Park a tremendous 1-2 punch. He was second at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic.

23 (28). Jarrett Kirk, senior, Lewisville Flower Mound TX: He won the McNeil Invitational in 15:07.3. 

24 (21). Carlos Shultz, senior, Loudoun Valley VA: He won the Loudoun County Championship race.

25 (27). Patrick Anderson, senior, Mt Lebanon PA: He won the PIAA Foundation Invite by 38 seconds.

26 (NR). Isaiah Galindo, senior, Clovis North CA: He won Nike Portland XC in 15:19.5.

27 (NR). Christopher Middleton-Pearson, senior, Dublin CA: He ran within two seconds of Strangio at the De La Salle Nike Invitational. 

28 (NR). Oliver Paleen, senior, St. Paul Highland Park MN: He won the Roy Griak Invitational.

29 (29). Mason Norman, senior, Classical Academy CO: He won the Polson Ranch Invitational by 30 seconds. 

30 (NR). Brett Gardner, senior, Lincoln-Way East IL: He ran 14:14 for second place at the Richard Spring Invite.
