Orlando McDaniel, 59, has reportedly died after acquiring the Coronavirus

McDaniel was a two-sport star at Louisiana State University and was the runner-up in the men's 110-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor championships in 1980, behind UCLA's Greg Foster

McDaniel played briefly in the NFL as a receiver for the Denver Broncos.

He started the North Texas Cheetahs Youth Track Club, which provided opportunities for girls in the Dallas metro area, in 2003.
