Real-time field event results app is latest offering from AthleticNET and AthleticLIVE

EUGENE, OR - September 25, 2020 - AthleticNET, the industry-leading platform for track & field / cross country team and meet management, has announced the launch of AthleticFIELD, a real-time field results entry app available on iOS, Android, and PC. AthleticFIELD integrates with AthleticLIVE to deliver real-time field results to further enhance the end-to-end solution provided to coaches, meet organizers, athletes, and spectators.

“AthleticFIELD allows meets of all sizes to offer app-based field event officiating,” remarked Ben Thomas, Lead Developer of AthleticLIVE. “By making a field event app for Android and iOS devices, we hope that real-time field event results will become as ubiquitous as real-time track results.”

AthleticFIELD gives meets an alternative to printed field event sheets. As officials enter marks in the app, AthleticFIELD sends real-time updates to AthleticLIVE, Athletic’s live results delivery platform.

During the 2018-19 season, less than 1% of AthleticLIVE meets used a field scoreboard. With AthleticFIELD, more participants will be able to view their real-time mark-by-mark results, while officials will enjoy the simplicity of entering results into an app instead of writing them on a piece of paper.
