Tinman Elite Welcomes Cory Leslie as Director and Assistant Coach 

Boulder, CO – Tinman Elite is thrilled to welcome Cory Leslie to the team’s staff as Director and Assistant Coach. Leslie after eight years of experience coaching in the NCAA and a decorated career as a professional runner. 

Coach Leslie will be overseeing team operations and providing support to Head Coach Tom Schwartz in facilitating team workouts. With personal bests of 3:53 in the mile and 8:19 in the 3,000m steeplechase, Coach Leslie will provide firsthand knowledge and experience to develop the middle distance and steeplechase athletes of Tinman Elite. As we continue training for the 2021 Olympics, Tinman Elite believes that Coach Leslie is perfectly suited to assist our athletes.

The goals of this group to compete and succeed at the pinnacle of our sport while engaging with the running community is something that was a no-brainer for me to be involved with. I’m eager to provide value to the athletes and my fellow staff so that everyone can reach their goals,” Coach Leslie said. 

In addition to providing support to Head Coach Schwartz, Leslie will help build the future of Tinman Elite by recruiting a women’s roster, organizing community events, and overseeing the team’s business operations. Head Coach Schwartz will continue to write and execute training plans and serve as the team’s leader.
