Beginning Saturday, and again Dec. 5 and 12, Webcasts featuring several of the most notable athletes in meet history will be held to determine the greatest Foot Locker champions, national races and best post-high school careers

Although there won’t be any Foot Locker regional meets or a national championship this fall as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, there will still be multiple opportunities to celebrate the past 41 years of Kinney and Foot Locker cross country history in a series of virtual chats, beginning at 11 a.m. EST this Saturday.

Foot Locker has lined up several past champions and All-Americans as guests for Webcasts on three consecutive Saturdays, starting Nov. 28, in addition to Dec. 5 and 12.

Scheduled to appear this Saturday are: Jenny Simpson, Meb Keflezighi, Deena Kastor, Jorge Torres, Reuben Reina, Molly Seidel, Weini Kelati, Chris Solinsky, Cory McGee, among others.

Foot Locker has created six categories for discussion, including the greatest high school national champion for both boys and girls in the event’s history, along with the most legendary championship races for both genders in Foot Locker finals history, in addition to which male and female athletes who have competed at a Foot Locker national meet have gone on to enjoy the best college and professional careers following their high school graduation.

All three Webcasts are free to join here. Each Webcast will also be available for viewing on the Foot Locker national site beginning the day after their initial broadcast.

Any athlete or coach who logs on may ask a question or share their favorite Foot Locker memory. If their question or memory is used on any Webcast, that person will be sent a free Foot Locker T-shirt.

Melody Fairchild, Ashley Brasovan, Jordan Hasay and Kathy Kroeger are among the guests scheduled for the Dec. 5 Webcast, with Dathan Ritzenhein, Alan Webb, Ryan Hall, Sara Hall, Abby Vanderkooi and Todd Williams part of the Dec. 12 lineup.
