By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor

BYU's Courtney Wayment charged past Oiselle Little Wing racers Angel Piccirillo and Rebecca Mehra and OTC Elite's Hanna Green on the final straightaway at the Dempsey Indoor Center and grabbed the win in the women's mile in 4:30.47.

That moved Wayment from ninth to first on the NCAA Indoor qualifying list and was a five-second personal best that also took her to No. 2 on the all-time BYU indoor list, along with achieving the second-fastest mile time in collegiate history on an oversized indoor track.
