Another weekend of high school indoor nationals produced another set of top performances for the 2022 national rankings.

Over three days at Virginia Beach, Va., adidas Track Nationals became a prime end-of-season outlet for Virginians and others to show what they can do.

Zyaire Nurridin of Montverde Academy in Florida had already competed in three outdoor meets but went to Virginia Beach and won the 400 meters with the third-fastest time in history: 46.04 seconds.

Nurridin's time is a US#1 and the fastest on an indoor track since Tyrese Cooper ran 46.01 in 2017.

Colonial Forge of Virginia won the boys 4x200 relay with the fastest time in the country this year, clocking 1:27.79. The team was anchored by Colby Kynard, who also helped the team take second in the 4x400.

In the boys pole vault, Maddox Hamm, a junior from Scottsboro AL, became the fourth jumper in history to clear 18 feet indoors. Hamm, who jumped 18-1 outdoors March 4, jumped 18-0.50 (5.50m) for No. 3 all-time.

Tessa Mudd of Mt. Pleasant Track Club in South Carolina won the girls pole vault with a clearance at 14-1.25 (4.30m), good for US#5.

Madison McConico of Vortex Track (Thomas Dale VA) jumped a big PR of 43-6.50 (13.27m) in the girls triple jump on Saturday, rising to US#1 this year and No. 5 all-time.

Brandon Pottinger of South Dade Express (Palmer Trinity FL) matched US#2 with 7-1 (2.15m) to win the high jump.

Jenna Mulhern from West Chester Henderson PA ran US#4 10:03.86 in the 2-mile. She was second in the 5,000 meters a week earlier at New Balance Nationals Indoor.

In the girls 400, Sanaa Hebron of Neshaminy PA ran US#4 54.37 for the victory and was pushed by Lauren Tolbert of Highland Tech NC, who was second in US#9 55.00.

Aniya Mosley from Ocean Lakes VA won the 800 meters in US#9 2:09.34.
