La Costa Canyon senior Kristin Fahy won the Foot Locker West Regional 5-kilometer girls championship race at Mt. SAC in Walnut, Calif. Fahy prevailed in 17:52.8 to help a California female athlete secure the regional title for the third consecutive year, in addition to joining older sibling Darren Fahy, the 2011 regional winner, as the only brother-sister combination in the meet's 40-year history to both capture individual titles.
