Clayton Young Champion Men's 10,000m - NCAA D1 Outdoor Championships 2019

Brigham Young senior Clayton Young won the men's 10,000-meter title in 29:16.60 at the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships at the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships in Austin, Texas. Young closed the final lap in 55.8 seconds to become BYU's first champion since current head coach Ed Eyestone won for the Cougars in 1984-85. BYU was also the third team in Division 1 history to place three athletes in the top four in the 10,000, with senior Connor McMillan placing third in 29:19.85 and sophomore Conner Mantz finishing fourth in 29:19.93.
