Competing as Hydro Flasks, Ayala CA won the prep girls team competition at the 25th annual Baldwin Park Pride of the Valley 5K at Morgan Park in Baldwin Park, Calif. Led by junior Shaina Berk running the fastest time by all prep female athletes by clocking 18:31 to finish 10th in the women's competition and 103rd overall, Ayala accumulated a team time of 97:28, a seven-second improvement over its previous program record at the event. Megan Oh produced a mark of 19:22, Emma Bialy clocked 19:37, Brianna King finished in 19:42 and Olivia Gomez ran 20:16 for Ayala, which also had contributions from Cadence Chang (20:23), Sophia Byers (20:38) and Rylie Parker (20:39), all finishing among the top 50 female athletes in the race.
