Lyons sophomore Quin Gregg won the girls 2A title at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championships, covering the 5-kilometer layout in 19:24.9 at the Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Gregg improved from her runner-up finish last season in 19:36.7 to help Lyons repeat as team champion with nine points, scoring only three runners. It marked both the third individual state champion and third team title for Lyons in program history.
