Webster Thomas NY senior Monique Hardy, an LSU signee, won the girls weight throw with a second-round mark of 66-11.25 (20.40m) at the 113th NYRR Millrose Games at The Armory in New York. Hardy produced the No. 2 throw in U.S. prep history, trailing only the national high school record 68-2.50 (20.79m) achieved by St. Pius X GA standout Shelby Ashe at the 2011 New Balance Nationals Indoor at The Armory. Hardy broke the New York state record of 65-6 (19.96m) set in 2017 by former Shenendehowa star Jill Shippee.
