Graduate students Robert Brandt and Linnea Saltz discuss with DyeStat editor Erik Boal their recent decisions to conclude their collegiate careers at Georgetown during the 2020-21 school year. Brandt was a four-time All-American, two-time MPSF indoor champion and Pac-12 winner in the 10,000 meters at UCLA, in addition to setting the Bruins' indoor records in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters. Saltz was a two-time Big Sky 800-meter champion at Southern Utah, along with setting the Thunderbirds' program records in the 400, 600 and 800 meters. In addition to reflecting on their track careers and making the transition from the West Coast to the East Coast, Brandt and Saltz also talk about pursuing Master's degrees and their post-collegiate plans.
