Poway CA senior Katerina Adamiec, a UCLA signee, cleared a personal-best 13-0.75 (3.98m) on her third attempt to place third in the women's elite division at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Big Red Barn Meet in Menifee, Calif. Adamiec, who cleared 13 feet twice last year, hadn't competed since March 7, when she won the Mt. Carmel Field and Distance Meet with a 12-foot clearance (3.65m).
