On Athletics Club professional athlete Alicia Monson took third in a lifetime-best 31:10.84 in the top section of the women's 10,000 meters at the Sound Running Track Meet. Monson, competing in the first 10,000 race in club history, elevated to the No. 10 all-time American performer and ninth in a women's-only race. Monson, who earned the Olympic standard, also ascended to No. 9 in the world this year.
