Oregon track and field head coach Robert Johnson recaps the Ducks capturing six titles and winning the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark., with 79 points. Both totals are the highest in program history and the most by any men's program since Arkansas had six victories and 94 points in 1994. Johnson applauds the efforts of sprint coach Curtis Taylor and distance coach Ben Thomas for their contributions to Oregon's success, with the Ducks becoming the first team in Division 1 indoor history to win the 800, mile, 3,000 and distance medley relay championships in the same year. Johnson also speaks about the challenging past year with racial injustice and social unrest around the country, in addition to the Coronavirus pandemic, and how the pursuit of winning the program's first national championship since 2016 helped unify the Ducks.
