Mariano Kis, a Colorado State sophomore representing Argentina, won the men's shot put title for the Rams with a fifth-round effort of 56-10 (17.32m) at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Kis secured the first shot put crown for Colorado State since Mostafa Hassan won three in a row from 2016-18. He also placed seventh in the hammer throw final with a 180-8 (55.08m) performance.
