Athing Mu, representing Nike, won her semifinal heat in the women's 800 meters in 1:59.31 at the United States Olympic Team Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Mu achieved the fastest semifinal time in Trials history, as six athletes all ran under 2 minutes to qualify, the most all-time at the meet.
