Atticus Hall, a senior at Thousand Oaks High in California, was the top finisher in the boys No. 1 race at the Palos Verdes Invitational on the Palos Verdes 2-mile course. Hall ran 9:57.89 to elevate to No. 4 in meet history and become only the sixth male athlete to eclipse the 10-minute mark. Hall also lowered the Thousand Oaks program record at Palos Verdes, after Michael Mireles ran 9:58.31 in 2019.
