Ainsley Erzen, a senior at Carlisle High in Iowa, repeated in the girls 800 meters in 2:09.39 and took second in the 400 meters in 56.18 seconds at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Erzen, an Arkansas signee, became the first female athlete to capture back-to-back 800 victories at Drake Relays since Joy Ripslinger of Assumption in 2016-17. She also contributed to a seventh-place finish for Carlisle in the 800-meter sprint medley relay in 1:49.32.
