Kaitlyn Kliesch, representing Ocean Breeze Wave Runners and Notre Dame Academy on Staten Island, won the girls 13-14 1,500-meter title in a personal-best 4:42.78 at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Kliesch also triumphed in the 800-meter final in 2:13.59.
