Kassie Parker, a senior at Loras College, placed seventh in the women's 5,000 meters in 15:37.00 at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Parker eclipsed the 2003 NCAA Division 3 record of 15:37.47 established by Missy Buttry of Wartburg, giving the Loras star both the division's 5,000 and 10,000 all-time marks, clocking 32:36.22 on March 31 at the Stanford Invitational.
