Rocky Hansen of Christ School NC and Tayson Echohawk of Orem UT, both recent high school graduates, join DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss the upcoming HOKA Festival of Miles on Thursday in St. Louis. Hansen became the 18th member of the sub-four prep miler club on April 30 at the Virginia High Performance Meet when he ran 3:59.56 in a field of college runners. Echohawk, after recovering from a bout of mono, has hit his stride the past few weeks and won three events at the Utah state track and field championships (5A), including 4:06.97 in the 1,600 meters. The altitude conversion for that is 4:02.13.
