Addison Kleinke, who recently completed her freshman year at Churchill High in Oregon, won the girls 15-16 division pole vault title with a first-attempt clearance of 12-11.50 (3.95m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Kleinke, who captured the Oregon 5A state crown May 27 with a 13-4.50 (4.08m) clearance at Hayward Field, took three attempts at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championship meet record of 13-7.25 (4.15m).
